Objectives: The students will understand the location and characteristics of places and regions of Texas.

Mon. Students will read and discuss Ch. 3 lesson 1 and identify the features and location of the Mountains and Basin Region. Students will create a foldable for the region.

Tue. Students will read and discuss Ch. 3 lesson 2 and identify the features and location of the Great Plains region and enter information in their foldable for the region.

Wed. Students will read and discuss Ch. 3 lesson 3 and identify the features and location of the North Central Plains region and enter information in their foldable for the region.

Thu. Students will read and discuss Ch. 3 lesson 4 and identify the features and location of the Coastal Plains region and enter information in their foldable for the region.

Fri. Students will complete the Ch. 3 assessment on page 97.
